Trebuchets

A trebuchet is a war machine that is used to throw projectiles great distances. Unlike catapults, trebuchets do not use torsion. Instead, trebuchets have a large counterweight that provides the neccesary energy to throw projectiles. Upon release, a trebuchet's projectile will reach a very large speed, due to the whipping action of the system. Trebuchets are valued for their simplicity of operation, range of distance, and incredible power.
